  • Review and Approve Materials: Manage the review process for new product launches, marketing initiatives, and incentive campaigns to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide Advisory Support: Offer guidance on existing products to ensure their compliance review process is managed effectively and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Advise Business Units: Provide advisory support relating to relevant regulatory requirements, addressing needs in new initiatives and projects.
  • Support Change Management: Provide guidance to the business on changes to regulatory requirements where required.
  • Internal Policy Review: Review internal policies and guidelines relating to Compliance's review of materials and campaigns.
  • Process Improvement: Conduct periodic assessments of the review process to identify areas for improvement.
  • Risk Assessments: Support risk assessments, auditing, and monitoring activities in accordance with the compliance program. Assess risks and identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability in the area of product review process.
  • Additional Tasks: Handle ad-hoc tasks/projects assigned by the Head of Compliance.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in compliance (e.g., ICA, ACAMS) are advantageous.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 - 4 years' experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the financial services industry (preferably insurance), strong knowledge of insurance-related policies e.g. LIA, FAA, FAS etc.
  • Skills: Experience reviewing marketing materials for regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
  • Collaboration: Possess a collaborative team player mindset with ability to work autonomously with time management skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
