Job Title: Cost Estimator

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled Cost Estimator to join our team. As a Cost Estimator, you will be responsible for providing detailed cost estimates and analyses for various construction projects.
  • You will work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that cost estimates are accurate and meet client expectations.
  • Your ability to complete tasks within tight deadlines and comply with workflow charts is essential.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills are also crucial in this role.
  • You will be responsible for sourcing sub-contractor quotations, comparing and evaluating them, and determining the correct pricing.
  • In addition, you will be required to manage budgets and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Tender/Project Quantity Surveyor in the Construction industry.
  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Building, or Quantity Surveying, or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is also required.
