Empower Trainees with Disabilities

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Job Coach to join our team. As a Job Coach, you will play a vital role in empowering trainees with disabilities to achieve their career aspirations.

About the Role:

">

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting individuals with mild intellectual disabilities (MID). You will work closely with trainees, caregivers, and employers to provide job support services, including work readiness assessments, site assessments, and job coaching.

You will also be responsible for facilitating job searches, preparing resumes, and conducting job interviews. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with stakeholders and promote harmonious industrial relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide job support services to trainees and alumni, including work readiness assessments and job coaching
  • Facilitate job searches, prepare resumes, and conduct job interviews
  • Build and maintain relationships with employers, caregivers, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with allied professionals to mediate expectations and meet the needs of trainees
  • Submit monthly reports, write articles for newsletters, and perform other administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or diploma in any discipline, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in relevant industries
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working with individuals with MID
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
