Job Title:Technical Leadership Role

About the Job:

This role is focused on leading IT teams in delivering projects efficiently, ensuring quality and alignment with business objectives. Key responsibilities include evaluating hardware and software systems, overseeing backup and recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant industry experience, strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity, familiarity with industry regulations, experience with EDI systems, proficiency in the M365 platform, knowledge of ERP systems, experience managing IT projects across multiple countries, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, strong relationship-building and collaboration abilities, business-level fluency in English, a solid understanding of Japanese culture and basic proficiency in Japanese.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead IT teams in delivering projects efficiently
  • Evaluate, procure, and manage replacement of hardware and software systems
  • Oversee backup and recovery procedures to ensure business continuity
  • Develop and implement IT service procedures
  • Advise departments on optimising system processes and support decision-making
  • Oversee system updates and daily maintenance in coordination with the IT support team
  • Supervise daily operations of server and network infrastructure, aligning systems with current and future business needs
  • Prepare and manage IT budgets, monitor cash flow, and ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Manage relationships with IT suppliers, service providers, and consultants
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure high service quality
  • Ensure all IT activities adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Assess risks, implement and maintain global IT security standards, and manage controls to protect data, systems, and networks

Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • At least 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity
  • Familiarity with industry regulations
  • Experience with EDI systems
  • Proficiency in the M365 platform
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Experience managing IT projects across multiple countries
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration abilities
  • Business-level fluency in English
