Job Title: Senior Food Production Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Food Production Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and production of food prototypes using standardized procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and production of food prototypes, following established guidelines and protocols.
  • Accurately measure and mix ingredients, adhering to formulations and safety protocols.
  • Operate basic food processing equipment, including mixers, ovens, and blenders.
  • Label, package, and store prototypes in accordance with internal guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized lab environment, supporting sanitation procedures.
  • Record production data, process notes, and observations with precision.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), hygiene, and safety protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a food lab, kitchen, or manufacturing environment.
  • Enrolled in or recently completed a program in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Nutrition, or a related field.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to lift ingredients and equipment (up to ~25 lbs).
  • Flexible working hours may be needed depending on production schedules.
