System Infrastructure Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled System Infrastructure Expert to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our technology infrastructure.

About the Role

The System Infrastructure Expert will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining server and network infrastructure that meets high availability, performance, and security standards across all systems. You will work closely with our IT team and other departments to identify and address technology needs and drive business growth.

Your primary focus will be on:

  • Designing and implementing server and network infrastructure solutions to ensure optimal performance and security
  • Monitoring and optimizing system performance by implementing upgrades and patches as necessary
  • Developing and enforcing robust security measures to protect against cyber threats
  • Managing backup solutions and disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience with Linux systems and network administration
  • Ability to design and manage compute clusters, including high-performance computing environments
  • Knowledge of high-performance networking and data storage technologies
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
