Job Title: Chef de Partie

We are seeking a highly skilled Pastry Chef to oversee the preparation, assembly, and presentation of pastry and dessert items in our hotel's kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, knowledge of dessert preparation and presentation techniques, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and assemble pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure proper portioning, garnishing, and plating of all dessert items for service.
  • Monitor stock levels of pastry ingredients and coordinate with the purchasing team for replenishment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pastry preparation area in accordance with food safety guidelines.
  • Assist in developing seasonal or promotional dessert offerings in collaboration with the Executive Chef.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in pastry preparation, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Knowledge of dessert preparation and presentation techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent output.
  • Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
