Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to join our Asset Services team. As an Operations Analyst, Asset Services, you will play a key role in coordinating portfolio transfers and securities transfers in the Global markets.
You will work closely with the Business to ensure all relevant approvals are obtained and provide seamless services to the front office. Your responsibilities will include handling pre-processing checks for all transfers, coordinating portfolio transfers, and ensuring smooth transitions of client assets.
You will also manage daily requests for security transfer, effectively resolve failed transfers, and adhere to procedures and control guidelines. Additionally, you will provide excellent customer service, manage stock and cash breaks, perform end-of-day control checks, and escalate any deviations to procedure.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate portfolio transfers and securities transfers in the Global markets
- Work closely with the Business to ensure all relevant approvals are obtained
- Provide seamless services to the front office
- Manage daily requests for security transfer
- Effectively resolve failed transfers
- Adhere to procedures and control guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service
- Manage stock and cash breaks
- Perform end-of-day control checks
- Escalate any deviations to procedure
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- a minimum of 3 years' experience in Private Bank Operations, especially in Securities Transfers or Securities Settlements
- a tertiary education with a good academic track record
- good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- clear written and verbal communication skills
- a client-oriented mindset
- meticulous attention to detail
- ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward
- ability to work effectively with both front office and support staff at all levels
- ability to perform ad-hoc system testing
