Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our healthcare staff. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical imaging services.

  • Examination Performance: Perform radiographic examinations in general and advanced imaging modalities such as Ultrasound and Mammography.
  • Preparation and Maintenance: Prepare examination rooms and maintain equipment to ensure optimal working conditions.
  • Patient Care: Provide clear instructions and put patients at ease during procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Image Analysis: Analyze digital images and assist in interpretation of findings to aid in accurate diagnoses.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and ensure seamless communication.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, adhering to healthcare regulations and protocols.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Recognized qualification as a Radiographer or Sonographer with a minimum Diploma/Degree in Medical Imaging.
  • Registration: Registration with AHPC is mandatory.
  • Experience: At least 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably in the medical imaging industry.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in operating X-ray and ultrasound equipment.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to liaise with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Commitment to Patient-Centred Care: Commitment to delivering patient-centred care and prioritizing patient needs.
