IT Support Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the SAP FICO modules within the S/4 HANA environment, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
  • Responsible for primary application support, incident recovery, problem tracking, diagnosis, replication, troubleshooting, and resolution of incidents.
  • Determine type of issue via first-level support (contact centre) and perform second-level investigation support (data, application use, procedure/process, system, network, etc.), routing to the responsible parties for resolution.
  • Track contact centre tickets to identify technical issues and either resolve them or escalate to the responsible party.
  • Work effectively within a cross-functional team environment and integrate activities with other IT teams to support project efforts.
  • Undertake any other ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience with SAP S/4HANA (especially FICO), ideally with in-house experience.
  • Strong understanding of SAP Finance processes, local statutory reporting, and audit requirements.
  • Experience with integration points between FICO and other SAP modules (MM, SD, etc.).
  • Familiarity with ticketing platforms such as Freshdesk is advantageous.
