Collaboration and Innovation Specialist

We are seeking a proactive, organised and self-motivated individual with a strong interest in youth innovation, event management and building impactful collaborations. This role will focus on supporting an inaugural youth hackathon, which empowers students to tackle pressing global challenges through creativity, entrepreneurship and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event outreach and logistics: Assist with planning and coordinating event logistics, support outreach efforts to promote the hackathon, liaise with vendors and maintain databases and contact lists for participants and partners.
  • Partnership and stakeholder management: Support the management of partner involvement, prepare partnership decks and communications, provide on-site support and assist with post-event reports.
Requirements:
  • Poly or undergraduate student from a relevant field such as Business Administration, Social Sciences, Marketing, Event Management or Communications.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Interest or prior experience in event planning, outreach or partnership management is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A good team player who can also work independently with initiative.
  • Proficient in MS Office; design skills highly desired.
  • Availability to commit to support the hackathon's preparation and execution.
