Job Title: SME/ Regional Operations Assurance Manager">

The primary function of the SME/Regional Operations Assurance Manager is to provide assurance on operational processes within the APAC region.

  • Ensure that servicing processes are compliant with APAC regulatory bodies' requirements, anticipating and mitigating potential audit findings.
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance teams to ensure decision accuracy and Critical Error Free Rate (CEFR), capturing regional nuances and regulatory interpretations.
  • Conduct thorough gap analyses of end-to-end processes within the region and collaborate with relevant teams to define requirements for new or revamped processes.
  • Leverage deep process and regulatory knowledge to drive the creation of precedents for complex cases within the region.
  • Provide first-line assurance on operational processes, conducting end-to-end reviews to identify potential risks and inefficiencies.
  • Act as a key point of contact and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for local Compliance and Product Compliance teams on regional operational matters.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working within a regulated financial institution, with specific exposure to the APAC region.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex regulatory requirements clearly and concisely.
  • Deep understanding of the regional customer base, market nuances, and the local regulatory landscape for financial crime and Know Your Customer (KYC).
