**About the role**:
The primary responsibility of the Regional Risk & Controls Business Partner is to manage and maintain the Enterprise Risk Management Program (ERM) and the Business Continuity Management Program (BCM) across the Asia-Pacific Region.
The incumbent will maintain policies, train applicable resources, and develop and manage practices to identify, analyse, prioritize, and report on enterprise risks and mitigation activities according to Olympus’ risk assurance framework, and report on the same to the Regional Head of Risk & Controls and the Regional Risk Assurance and Compliance Committee (R-RACC) on a regular basis.
The incumbent will also work closely with global and regional stakeholders to define and oversee the incident response and crisis management processes and provide consulting to the business on continuity and resilience planning.
Reporting to the Regional Head of Risk & Controls, you will be accountable for:
- Assist the Regional Head of Risk & Controls to establish and maintain a comprehensive and robust Risk & Controls Program across the region.
- Engage risk owners and risk assurance teams in continuous dialog to identify and assess risks and drive consensus on top risks that merit reporting to the regional board, R-RACC, and global risk assurance teams.
- Execute and document risk assessments and mitigation actions with the risk owners and risk assurance teams throughout the fiscal year.
- Provide regular risk dashboards, reports, and trends to R-RACC, regional risk owners, and global and regional stakeholders.
- Develop and provide risk-and-control training to targeted resources.
- Manage the development and implementation of an incident response and crisis management process for non-cybersecurity related incidents in the region, including conducting regular tabletop exercises to improve incident preparedness.
- Manage the development and implementation of the Business Continuity Management Program in the region and provide consulting to the business in the development and implementation of functional and site-specific business continuity plans
- Administer risk management tools and software for the region.
- Maintain close communication with members of assurance teams to facilitate timely sharing of prospective and manifested risks.
- Manage and lead projects as requested by the Regional Head of Risk & Controls.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of industry shifts, federal and state laws and regulations, financial trends, and Olympus’ strategic and operational plans.
- Perform all other essential duties as assigned.

**What we are looking for**:
You will consider yourself to be a proactive, achievement-oriented, and determined individual with:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business management, or a related discipline.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in enterprise risk management, operational risk management, corporate strategy, or strategic planning.
- Prior experience working in a regional role with multi-national companies.
- Strong analytical skills, including financial analysis and modelling.
- Ability to address and simplify complex issues and provide pragmatic advice and practical solutions that can be operationalized.
- Good negotiating skills, flexibility and high level of social and intercultural competence
- Good business acumen and understanding of economic and operational interdependencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English
- Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships and networks within and outside of immediate function.
- Ability to prioritize multiple urgent tasks, act, and provide clear direction in the face of ambiguity.
