Regional Risk Manager

We are seeking a seasoned risk management professional to oversee our operations in Southeast Asia.

  1. Assist with the oversight of all security operations and emergency preparedness functions including, but not limited to, physical, event and travel security, incident response and life safety.
  2. Support business operations by mitigating risks to employees, facilities and operations through regional specific exercises and stakeholder engagement.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including partnering effectively with regional Incident Management Team members and office bureau chiefs.
  4. Partner with the Enterprise Resilience and Incident Management team to identify and assess threats and events that have the potential to impede life, safety or operational incidents.
  5. Assist in ensuring timely escalation and resolution of incidents to minimize business disruption.
  6. Oversee and drive the Global Health and Life Safety program within APAC ensuring adherence to local occupational health and safety standards.
  7. Expand emergency response programs across APAC in collaboration with the IMBC, GHLS and wider Security Operations team.
  8. Design, implement and oversee security for large-scale events.
Requirements
  • Tertiary Degree (security, risk/crisis, international relations, etc.) or other relevant qualifications within a security, OHS, crisis or emergency management environment.
  • 5+ years' experience in security risk management, incident management or OHS.
  • Demonstrated experience of working in a multi-national financial or news organization.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills including attention to detail and presentation delivery.
  • Experience or knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards and developing OHS programs.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments while understanding, assessing and prioritizing business needs.
