The role of a Strategic Financial Manager is pivotal in driving financial services industry workforce competency and transformation. This position plays a key part in equipping finance professionals with capabilities to support the growth of Singapore's financial services.

Key responsibilities include overseeing all financial aspects of an organisation, including financial planning, budgeting, financial reporting, financial analysis, and policy formulation to support operations and grant administration. The successful candidate will ensure that budgets are sustainable and able to meet strategic goals.

Additionally, the Strategic Financial Manager will be responsible for managing training grants, ensuring accurate and timely management of grant processing, monitoring, disbursement, audit, and reporting. Collaboration with internal divisions and other government agencies will be essential in strengthening grants policies and governance.

This senior-level position requires a strong background in Accounting and/or Finance. The ideal candidate will possess analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and develop strategic recommendations. Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills are also essential.

Suitable candidates will have mid-to-senior level experience and be well-versed in finance and accounting principles. They will also be proficient in using analytics to perform financial forecasts, support business needs, and manage risk.
