Job Summary:

The Head of Financial Management is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization. This role involves strategic planning, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and deep expertise in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Planning:
    Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    Lead the annual budgeting process and provide accurate financial forecasts.
  • Financial Reporting:
    Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Risk Management:
    Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Compliance & Governance:
    Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
  • Team Leadership:
    Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Collaborate with senior leadership, board members, and external partners to support financial decision-making.
  • Cost Control & Efficiency:
    Monitor expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's or CPA preferred)
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
