Job Title:

Maintenance and Repair Technician

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Maintenance and Repair Technician. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance tasks, identifying and resolving issues with building systems, and ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.

You will work closely with our operations team to develop and implement preventative maintenance plans, and collaborate with external contractors to ensure that all maintenance work is carried out to a high standard.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in areas such as mechanical and electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC. You will also have the chance to work on a variety of projects, from routine repairs to larger-scale refurbishments.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, inspection, and testing of equipment and facilities
  • Identify and resolve issues with building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans, in collaboration with the operations team
  • Collaborate with external contractors to ensure that all maintenance work is carried out to a high standard
  • Conduct site visits to assess maintenance needs and provide recommendations for improvement

  • Weather-tightness
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Painting skills
  • Unloading and handling skills
  • Construction safety awareness
  • Tiling skills
  • Windows and glazing experience
  • Waterproofing skills
  • Able to work independently
