Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

This role involves providing support to the quality team in ensuring that food safety standards and regulations are met. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct finished product inspections to verify compliance with quality standards.
  • Monitor Critical Control Points to ensure they are controlled and maintained.
  • Inspect raw materials, semi-processed, and finished products for quality and consistency.
  • Conduct hygiene checks and verify cleaning and sanitation procedures.
  • Provide training to food handlers on food safety protocols.
  • Handle documentation related to food safety and quality.
  • Investigate customer complaints and feedback related to food safety and quality.
  • Monitor retention samples and schedule product testing.
  • Maintain and calibrate QC tools.
  • Assist in reviewing and updating the HACCP Manual.
  • Liaise with suppliers on calibration, scheduled service, and repairs.
  • Collect and analyze data for quality improvements.
  • Report discrepancies or non-conformances to the QA Manager.
  • Make recommendations for system improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a Diploma/Higher Diploma or Degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Nutrition, or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Fresh graduates welcome to apply, with training provided.
