Job Title: Food Quality Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Food Quality Specialist to join our team.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene.
  • Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining our reputation for delivering safe, high-quality food products to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of food production facilities to monitor compliance with all relevant food safety regulations and standards.
  • Identify and address any potential hygiene or safety issues, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Provide training and guidance to production staff on food handling, cleaning procedures, and best practices in food hygiene.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation to demonstrate compliance with all food safety requirements.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors to ensure operations meet or exceed necessary standards.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of food safety management systems and processes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar food hygiene or quality assurance role, preferably within the catering or food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of food safety legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve potential food safety issues.
  • Proficient in conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Effective communication and training skills to engage with production staff at all levels.
  • Relevant diploma or qualification in food technology, food science, or related discipline.
