Maintenance Supervisor Role

Our organization is seeking a qualified Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the repair and maintenance of equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering and excellent leadership skills.

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing servicing, inspection, repair, and maintenance activities to ensure high equipment availability and reliability. This includes:

  • Developing and implementing maintenance plans to minimize downtime and ensure safety
  • Coordinating with technicians and other departments to ensure effective equipment operation
  • Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement

The successful candidate will possess a minimum NITEC/Higher NITEC in Motor Vehicle/Mechatronic or Diesel Mechanic, as well as relevant working experience and knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic & Pneumatic. A valid LTA Class 3 driving license is also required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring troubleshooting, rectification, and re-activation of equipment to avoid delays and downtime during breakdown maintenance
  • Complying with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedures
  • Performing ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head
