Job Title: Technical Developer

We are seeking a skilled professional to design, develop and maintain data governance solutions using the Collibra platform.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and Maintain Workflows:
      • Automate governance processes using BPMN standards.
    • Configure Assets:
      • Domains and communities based on business metadata models.
    • Design Integrations:
      • REST API-based integrations between Collibra and external systems.
    • Data Lineage and Quality:
      • Implement advanced data lineage including technical and business lineage.
      • Enable data quality rule linkage to assets and build visualization for DQ scores.
    • Glossary Updates and Classification:
      • Maintain and automate glossary updates, steward assignments and classification tagging.
    • Metadata Ingestion and Sync:
      • Support metadata ingestion and sync across systems using Collibra Connect or third-party tools.
    • Platform Upgrades and Environment Management:
      • Participate in platform upgrades, testing and environment management.
    • Technical Documentation:
      • Maintain technical documentation and adhere to change management practices.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management or related field.
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience working with Collibra Data Intelligence Platform.
  • Strong knowledge of Collibra workflow development (BPMN 2.0) and asset model configuration.
  • Experience with Collibra APIs for automation and integration.
  • Proficiency in Java, Groovy or Python for customization and scripting.
  • Familiarity with metadata management, data governance and data lineage concepts.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Collibra Lineage Harvester or custom lineage solutions.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based platforms like AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools and BI tools.
