About the Job

We are seeking a seasoned Perfumer with expertise in consumer fragrances to join our dynamic fragrance development team. As a Perfumer, you will be responsible for creating new fragrances that meet project specifications and are delivered within deadlines.

  • Develop innovative fragrance formulations that meet client briefs and internal quality standards.
  • Sources and proposes new raw materials based on their technical performance, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams during customer visits to provide expert support in presentations and technical discussions.
  • Lend your expertise to evaluation panels for new fragrances and raw materials.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving quality control issues as they arise.
  • Support the perfumery training and development of other staff members when needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 years' experience in the fragrance industry, with expertise in fragrance innovation.
  • Experience in consumer fragrances, including home care, personal care, and air care.
  • The ability to translate complex GCMS data into market-ready fragrance formulas.
  • A refined sense of smell for precise scent evaluation, supported by a technical knowledge base.
  • Presentation abilities to articulate creative ideas and technical details clearly to both colleagues and clients.
  • Experience in a dynamic fragrance development environment.
  • International exposure or demonstrated experience operating within international markets is a preferred qualification.
