Senior 5G Protocol Stack Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Senior 5G Protocol Stack Specialist to lead our commercial base station development team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in telecom, focusing on 4G/5G technologies and base station development.

The role involves managing a team of engineers, overseeing the entire development process, ensuring timely delivery and quality, and fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers in developing commercial 4G/5G L2/L3 protocol stacks.
  • Oversee the entire development process, ensuring high-quality delivery of base station solutions.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Work with operators to understand their network requirements and lead the team in designing appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with system architects, developers, and testing teams for smooth execution and delivery.
  • Manage communication with external partners to ensure clear understanding of requirements.
  • Stay updated on 5G technologies and contribute to strategic planning and innovation within the team.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in telecom, focusing on 5G technologies and base station development.
  • Experience leading teams and managing commercial base station projects.
  • Strong leadership and project management experience, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Understanding of 5G base station architecture and L2/L3 protocol stack.
