About the JobWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as an Emergency Response Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, dispatching personnel and equipment, and ensuring the safety of all public safety responders and the public.
You will be working closely with various agencies and stakeholders to coordinate responses to emergencies, including fires, medical emergencies, and other crises. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build effective relationships with colleagues, partners, and the public.
The ideal candidate will have experience in emergency services, including firefighting, emergency medical services, and law enforcement. You should also possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
Responsibilities- Respond to emergency calls and dispatch personnel and equipment as needed.
- Cordinate responses to emergencies, including fires, medical emergencies, and other crises.
- Ensure the safety of all public safety responders and the public.
- Work closely with various agencies and stakeholders to coordinate responses.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of emergency responses.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience in emergency services, including firefighting, emergency medical services, and law enforcement.
- Valid driver's license issued in the United States.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
