The Pastry Chef role requires the ability to create high-quality pastry products in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all pastry ingredients with accuracy and precision, adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Making dough, mousse cream, batter, tarts, pies, cookies, and cakes while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Layering and decorating pastries and cakes to meet presentation specifications and adhere to presentation guidelines.
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications as set by senior culinary staff.
  • Assist in stock management of ingredients, utensils, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Store and/or package ingredients and products neatly and cleanly, maintaining a high level of personal hygiene and safety standards.
  • Adhere to Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) of the kitchen, including sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety protocols.
  • Maintain high standards of personal grooming, adherence to dress code, and contribution to a positive team dynamic.

Requirements:

  • Relevant culinary qualification or equivalent work experience
  • 0–2 years related experience in a commercial kitchen environment
