As a Key Player in Myopia Management, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to innovation in eye care.

About the Role

You will guide patients through every step from assessment and education to fittings and follow-up ensuring they receive optimal, personalised solutions. You will work closely with ophthalmologists, optometrists, and clinic staff in a supportive environment where ongoing learning and clinical excellence are key.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients in selecting, fitting, and adjusting eyeglasses and contact lenses tailored to myopia management.
  • Interpret prescriptions accurately to ensure proper lens fabrication and fitting.
  • Educate patients on myopia control strategies, proper eyewear care, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Perform pre-screening tests, visual acuity assessments and ophthalmic investigations under supervision.
  • Maintain inventory of frames, lenses, and optical equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service addressing concerns and troubleshooting issues.
  • Support outreach initiatives such as school screenings and community education events.
Requirements
  • Certified Optician with valid registration/license.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Optician in a clinical or retail setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a warm, empathetic approach to patient care.
  • Strong communication abilities to explain complex concepts in clear language.
  • Proficiency in using optical equipment and lens fitting software.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and high standards.
