Job Overview

The position is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of a distribution center. This includes managing inbound receiving, outbound distribution, and value-added services to ensure seamless product flow across various channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute logistics strategies to achieve speed-to-market goals
  • Lead cross-functional teams to enhance customer satisfaction and resolve operational issues
  • Establish best practices with logistics partners for continuous improvement in operation efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and speed to market
  • Manage and develop a team to meet individual and team goals, focusing on problem-solving, role clarity, and motivation

This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, including trade and compliance, product, digital, IT, and counterparty APAC partners. Effective communication, planning, and organizational skills are essential for success in this position.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in business administration, operations management, supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in self-managed or 3PL bonded distribution center and logistics operations; apparel retail experience is preferred
  • Deep market intelligence and knowledge of LEAN thinking concepts and implementation
  • Solid understanding of enterprise management systems, especially RMS
  • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational capability
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; experience in leading a team is preferred
  • Good team spirit and proactive personality; hands-on position
  • Clear communications skills to inspire, motivate, and provide cross-functional leadership
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, familiar with WMS and retail systems)
  • Ability to think outside the box, enjoy challenges, and be solutions-oriented
  • Good command of spoken and written English
