Job Title: Physics Application Senior Manager
Role OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development of our cutting-edge technology from proof-of-concept to industrial rollout. The ideal candidate will have expertise in reader devices and detection performance, with experience designing experiments, performing measurements, and simulations.
Key Responsibilities- Design and oversee the development of next-generation detection units in collaboration with subcontractors and partners.
- Improve existing technologies and develop new measurement methods to ensure top-tier detection performance.
- Provide technical training and support to clients as the trusted expert.
- Manage an R&D lab, guide team growth, and ensure projects stay on track and deliver exceptional results.
- Prepare clear demonstrations for stakeholders and potential clients.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A PhD in Physics or a related discipline, or equivalent senior-level experience (8+ years relevant experience).
- Deep knowledge of radiation sources, spectroscopy, or reader devices.
- Experience leading cross-functional, international project teams in complex environments.
- A proven track record of commercializing new technologies or applications.
- Industrial manufacturing experience.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills to explain complex science in simple terms.
- A collaborative, hands-on, solutions-focused mindset.
- The willingness to travel and work flexible hours to bridge global teams.
