Job Title: Senior Network Specialist

This is a high-profile position that requires a senior-level network specialist to oversee the design, implementation, and management of our global network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain our enterprise-level networking equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless access points.
  • Plan, deploy, and manage network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation.
  • Continuously monitor network performance and reliability, diagnosing and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of network architecture, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Analyze network traffic and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize network infrastructure to meet business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with network infrastructure design, implementation, and administration.
  • Proficiency in network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, MPLS, and QoS.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and management platforms (SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure networking) and hybrid network environments.
  • Ability to write scripts or use automation tools for network management (e.g., Python, Ansible).
  • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks or other network service management models.
