Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement global trading strategies aligned with corporate objectives, driving business growth and market penetration across regions and commodity sectors.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow high-performance trading, operations, and analytics teams, overseeing day-to-day physical and derivative trading operations across commodities.
  • Manage trading books, risk exposures, and real-time profit and loss, utilizing market intelligence, pricing models, and macroeconomic trends to inform trading decisions.
Operations & Supply Chain Development:

Establish and manage end-to-end supply chain capabilities, from sourcing to delivery, building operational infrastructure to support scalable and efficient commodity flow.

Drive logistics planning, warehousing, and distribution strategy to support trading activities, working cross-functionally to align operations with commercial and trading objectives.

Risk Management & Compliance:

Implement and oversee risk control frameworks to manage exposure across credit, market, and operational risks, collaborating with compliance teams to ensure full regulatory adherence.

Approve and monitor trader risk limits and ensure disciplined trading behavior, leading negotiations and supporting cross-border transactions and joint ventures.

Financial Accountability:

Define profit and loss targets and ensure delivery of trading and operational performance, optimizing trading margins while reducing transaction and supply chain costs.

Collaborate with finance for accurate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, identifying and executing structured deals, long-term contracts, and partnership opportunities.
