We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chief Trade Finance Strategist to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading the structuring and execution of trade finance instruments, designing financing solutions, and overseeing trade finance documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement trade finance strategies that align with business objectives.
- Lead the creation and negotiation of trade finance documents, including Letters of Credit, Standby LCs, Bank Guarantees, and Documentary Collections.
- Cultivate relationships with global banks to secure competitive financing terms and adequate credit lines.
- Act as the primary liaison between the company and financial institutions for all trade finance matters.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in trade finance, with a strong track record in commodity or energy trading, or banking trade finance operations.
- Deep understanding of trade finance instruments, banking operations, and commodity trading flows.
- Strong knowledge of UCP 600, ISBP, Incoterms, and other trade-related standards.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
