Public Relations Liaison Specialist

As a Community Liaison Officer, you will play a vital role in fostering positive relationships between our organization and the public.

The Community Liaison Officer will be responsible for handling all aspects of project administration, including daily administrative tasks at the site office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular visits to the public, residents, and occupiers in the vicinity and proximity of the works to inform them about the impact of construction activities before each stage.
  • Manage feedback and complaints from the public tactfully and provide full support on all press and public relations matters related to the contract.
  • Arrange and attend meetings with the project team as necessary to discuss public relation matters.
  • Promote and maintain a good relationship with the public throughout the construction period.
  • Establish a filing system and maintain thorough documentation for all files and correspondence pertaining to the project.
  • Assist the Site Manager/Project Manager with any ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE "A" Level or Diploma in a relevant discipline.
  • At least 1 year's working experience in a relevant role in the construction industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent client-facing skills with strong people orientation ability to build and develop positive relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Able to engage and manage various stakeholders on PR matters and public feedback to create an effective communication flow and awareness on the project.
  • Resourceful and possess good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently, organized, and with a positive working attitude.
