Job Title: Community Outreach Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to serve as our Community Outreach Coordinator. This role will play a crucial part in fostering positive relationships with the public and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for public engagement on sewer rehabilitation works, ensuring effective communication and transparency throughout the process.
  • Notify property owners and relevant stakeholders of upcoming projects in their vicinity, providing clear and concise information about timelines and schedules.
  • Attend progress and technical meetings to stay updated on project developments, applying this knowledge to inform public outreach efforts.
  • Manage public and stakeholder inquiries related to the project, addressing concerns and providing timely updates.
  • Collaborate with residents, HDB branches, and Town Councils to provide clear and timely updates, including on-site notices and circulars.
  • Coordinate with property owners on work schedules, communicating any changes or issues effectively.
  • Maintain a professional and responsive presence on-site, fostering good community relations and ensuring that all parties are informed and engaged.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse groups.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in public relations, community engagement, or construction-related industries is preferred.
  • A valid Class 3 driving license is an asset.
