Job Title: Oncology Care Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop customized care plans to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Promote continuity of care through effective communication, collaboration, and teamwork among healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and manage treatment-related toxicity in patients with acute and chronic conditions.
  • Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers throughout the care process, empowering them to make informed decisions.
  • Advocate for patient rights, dignity, and informed consent, ensuring that their needs are respected and met.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
  • Follow established clinical protocols, including IV preparation and cannulation, to provide safe and effective care.

Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum of a Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
  • Have at least one year of experience in oncology nursing, with a strong foundation in radiation oncology principles.
  • Knowledge of radiation oncology is highly valued, but not mandatory.
  • Be registered as a Senior/Staff Nurse with the relevant professional body.
