Senior Laboratory Operations Manager

This role oversees laboratory operations, ensuring a safe and conducive environment for research and education activities. Responsibilities include allocating laboratory space, optimizing layout, managing laboratory maintenance, asset management, and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:- Allocate laboratory space to ensure optimal use and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage laboratory maintenance, including inventory lists of chemicals, licenses, and waste disposal.
- Oversee daily operations and upkeep of the laboratory, maintaining accurate records and updating the research space inventory database in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the Safety Team to ensure lab users adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
- Implement risk controls and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Minimum Undergraduate Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent qualification.
- At least 8 years of work experience in engineering or infocomm technology related labs.
- Experience in managing safety and inventories.
- Experience with procurement and document management.
This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with various stakeholders.
