Senior Laboratory Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Laboratory Operations Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our laboratory, ensuring that all testing services are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a team of laboratory staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective delivery of testing services
- Implementing operational improvements to increase client satisfaction, quality performance, and operational efficiency
- Resolving client inquiries and operational issues in a timely manner by consulting with relevant stakeholders
- Conducting departmental meetings and ensuring effective communication among team members
Requirements for this role include:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Chemistry, or other Life Science
- Minimum 6 years of laboratory experience, including 4 years of supervisory or management experience in a clinical laboratory environment
- Prior supervisory experience managing several direct reports is preferred
- Experience in a high-volume working environment
- Knowledge of quality assurance practices and procedures
- Strong knowledge of CAP, ISO15189 accreditation, and MOH HCSA regulations
- Understanding of laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures
- Proven ability to problem-solving/troubleshooting and provide solutions under minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- High level of attention to detail with strong organization skills
- Comfortable making decisions in a fast-changing environment
