As a Restaurant Service Manager at THE CAPITOL KEMPINSKI HOTEL SINGAPORE, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to our guests. Your primary goal will be to ensure that every guest has a memorable dining experience, consistent with the hotel's high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recommend and serve food and beverages to customers, providing a personalized and attentive service.
  • Answer guest questions and handle requests in a polite and efficient manner, ensuring that every guest feels valued and respected.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement waste reduction strategies to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Perform cashiering duties, including handling cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage safety and hygiene policies and procedures are followed, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Lead the service team, setting a positive example and providing guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Attend daily Food and Beverage Meetings to stay informed about hotel operations and guest preferences.
Requirements:
  • Warm, pleasant, and confident, with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong command of English.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant or cafe environment, with a minimum of 1 year of service.
  • Familiarity with HACCP requirements and knowledge of Health and Safety rules and procedures.
