Job Title:

PUBLIC RELATIONS SPECIALIST

">Description:

The Public Relations Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication with the public, stakeholders and project team members. This includes managing feedback and complaints, providing updates on construction works, and arranging meetings as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement public relation strategies to meet project goals;
  • Manage and respond to feedback and complaints from the public in a timely and professional manner;
  • Provide regular updates to the public on construction progress and activities;
  • Arrange meetings with stakeholders as required;
  • Prepare and disseminate information to the public through various channels;
  • Monitor and report on feedback and complaints received;
  • Perform site inspections and handle public concerns and issues;
  • Maintain a positive relationship with the public throughout the construction period;
  • Perform other public relations tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum GCE A Level or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent with at least 3 years' working experience in a similar role;
  • Experience in the civil construction industry is an added advantage;
  • Analytical and meticulous approach to work;
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and long hours;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A team player with strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent Communication Skills;
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Construction knowledge and expertise;
  • Interpersonal and Customer Service skills;
  • Public Relations and Community Engagement experience;
  • Time Management and Organization skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
