We are looking for a dynamic and versatile individual for our Public Comms and Engagement team, someone with fresh eyes and a passion for discovering the answers to help make the world we live in a little better everyday. In the Public Comms and Engagement team, we do this through advising our client how best to convey policy initiatives and engage the public to effect change, whether it’s a behaviour that will lead to better outcomes for the individual, or an attitude that will benefit many others.

To be successful you will need to be comfortable with interacting with people as well as numbers, passionate, energetic, able to handle multiple tasks, work to tight deadlines, and enjoy working in a tight team to ensure the successful delivery of these programmes. About the role

As an Intern in our team, you will:

- Actively support the planning and implementation of qualitative and quantitative research on branding, communications, and citizen engagement
- Conduct literature reviews, social scans, data audits and qualitative research note-taking
- Project manage, including liaising with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring delivery to deadlines, budget and quality
- Support in client workshops and discussion sessions with both clients and study participants
- Support the preparation and delivery of clear, concise and impactful reports and presentations
- Provide effective and timely client servicing

About you
- Currently studying or recently graduated with a Degree/Masters in the social sciences, including but not limited to political science, sociology, psychology, communications, statistics, social methods research, data analytics, etc.
- Have a genuine interest in issues facing the public sector and the desire to make a positive social impact
- Ambidextrous thinker who is detailed minded, enjoy digging into evidence and also able think laterally and creatively beyond the numbers
- A natural problem-solver who is self-motivated, curious, passionate about learning and do not shy away from challenges
- A collaborative team player who is unafraid to articulate his or her points-of-view, but always respectful of others
- Organised, meticulous, deadline driven and able to multi-task
- Care about quality and ‘getting it right’ and taking pride in doing great work.
- Thrive on variety - adaptable and positive in the face of change.
- Works well under pressure, with the patience and perseverance to see through tight timelines
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
- Bilingual, English and first language (Chinese/Malay/Tamil)
