Senior Software Specialist
About the Role:
The Senior Software Specialist will drive technical adoption of the Windows on Snapdragon Compute platform across Commercial space. This role involves pre-sales focus and assisting enterprise customers with product commercialization and support for timely, faster, and smooth product evaluation.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the execution of Qualcomm's Worldwide Compute Go-To-Market strategy
2. Support Qualcomm's Commercial Territory Sales and Channel teams through deep technical engagements with IT implementers and assist with device evaluations, pilots, and proof-of-concepts
3. Provide technical guidance to enterprise customers on product features and enable quick adoption
4. Resolve technical issues with Windows on Snapdragon products around Peripherals, Stability, Multimedia, etc.
5. May require working on-site with customers and technology teams to provide a complete solution and/or resolution to issues in a timely manner
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
2. 5-8 years of working experience including application engineering, Field Application Engineering, or Technical Product Marketing role
3. Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming
4. Experience with debugging techniques
5. Excellent communication and people skills
