Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and troubleshoot experimental work to ensure that students achieve reliable and precise data.

  • Ensure the efficient use of resources in the delivery of the laboratory sessions.
  • Coordinate laboratory class sessions.
  • Assist in mentoring students during practical sessions.
  • Adhere to and assist in the administration and enforcement of health and safety matters.
  • Ensure ongoing cleanliness and maintenance of laboratory and preparatory work areas and equipment.

Research & Knowledge Exchange:
  • Participate in the use of e-learning platforms.
  • Handle laboratory-related enquiries, feedback, and correspondence effectively.

Teamwork:
  • Participate actively during department and programme meetings.
  • Contribute and work proactively with colleagues in institution-wide working groups or committees.
  • Engage and work with colleagues through collaborative projects.

Miscellaneous Duties:
  • Maintain own continuing professional development.

Others:
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required by the company.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in a related discipline.
  • Entry-level candidates will be considered.
  • 1-2 years of relevant working experience would be advantageous.
  • Prior teaching/instructional experience would be advantageous.
  • Dedicated and goal-oriented individual.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work at night and weekends when needed.
