Lead Experimental Researcher

The Institute for Adult Learning is seeking a visionary leader to drive innovation in adult learning through distributed experimental research.

About the Role

You will design and lead experimental research, developing protocols tailored to authentic settings and championed projects. You will work closely with industry specialists to engage stakeholders in community solutioning and experimentation, reporting to the Deputy Director of the Research Division.

This role requires strong experimental research and analytical skills, with enthusiasm for methodological innovations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategize and lead experimental research, developing protocols tailored to authentic settings.
  • Guide and enable community experiments, providing support in experiment designs and ethical practices.
  • Lead data collection, analysis, and analytics, using accessible insights for community stakeholders.
  • Share results through academic and non-academic outputs, supporting scaling of innovations.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate research degree in social sciences (Education/Psychology/Sociology/Business Management/Human Capital Development/Political Science/Economics/Industrial and Organisational Psychology).
  • At least 8 years of research and/or leadership experience in the relevant field.
  • Commitment to building a high-trust, high-efficacy ecosystem of co-innovation and experimentation.
  • Excellent writing, communication, administrative, and project management skills.
