Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Operations Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out operational tasks to upkeep plant, performing SCADA data monitoring and logging in NABS system, and conducting gas quantity nominations and reports checking/monitoring.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum Diploma Engineering in Mechanical or Instrument with at least 6 years of experience in Oil and Petrochemical industry. They must also possess a Class 3 driving license and hold certifications such as OPSOC, WAH, Confined space supervisor, CERT & first aider.

In this role, you will play a key part in Powering Asia's Energy Transition by supporting the shift to a lower-carbon future. You will work closely with our Gas & Related Services segment to deliver reliable and efficient energy to industries and communities across multiple countries.

  • Carry out operational tasks to upkeep plant, including gas check at site, data downloading, isolation, and issue permit as per SOP.
  • Perform SCADA data monitoring and logging in NABS system.
  • Conduct gas quantity nominations and reports checking/monitoring.
  • Supervise maintenance work activities for CM & PM works.
  • Field check and plant monitoring, including End Users and Customers.
  • Perform meter data download/collection for customers during billing submission.
  • Perform flow monitoring and control on flow control valve and meter.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Upstream supplier, End Users, EMA/PSO, Power Gas, and KAM team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma Engineering in Mechanical or Instrument.
  • At least 6 years of experience in Oil and Petrochemical industry.
  • Class 3 driving license.
  • OPSOC, WAH, Confined space supervisor, CERT & first aider certification.
