Job Opportunity - Projects and Energy Transition Specialist
Job Description:We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to join our Projects and Energy Transition team in Singapore. As a specialist, you will be responsible for managing straightforward matters on a daily basis while actively advancing more complex issues with support from senior associates and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing and advancing matters on a daily basis.
  • Drafting and reviewing security and finance documents.
  • Negotiating and supporting the signing and closing of conditions precedent under relevant documentation.
  • Supporting business development initiatives.
  • Contributing to and refining department know-how.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1-2 years' legal experience gained within private practice.
  • Qualification in Singapore, England & Wales, Australia or any other suitable common law jurisdiction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organisational skills.
  • Strong ability to communicate with clients and deliver an integrated product.
  • Lateral thinking to develop innovative solutions to issues that arise during transactions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the energy and natural resources sector.
  • Interest in energy transition, including low carbon and carbon capture.
  • Experience advising on energy projects, including project development, acquisitions and disposals, joint venture/shareholders' agreements, commercial contracts and/or project financing.
