Material Management Associate Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Material Management Associate to join our team in the Engineering Division. As a key member of the department, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating various administrative functions related to freight, tenders, and facilities.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as proficiency in MS Office suite. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Below are the key responsibilities associated with this role:

  • Maintain accurate records and files for Material Management contracts and agreements.
  • Monitor lease agreements and floor plans of warehouse space leased by our organization.
  • Conduct yearly verification of leased space required for audit purposes.
  • Maintain asset listings and update records accordingly.
  • Coordinate with maintenance contractors for servicing and repair of Automated Storage-Retrieval System (ASRS) in the Warehouse.
  • Compile and verify reports from Freight Forwarders against AWB and shipping documents for monthly GST reporting.
  • Verify freight invoices.
  • Support Tender and RFP processes and contract administration across the Engineering Division and other departments as needed.

Requirements:

  • Possess a diploma in any discipline.
  • Be proficient in MS Office suite.
  • Demonstrate ability to engage with vendors and line engineers directly.
  • Exhibit good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Show motivation, drive, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure is essential.
