About the Role:

Chubb is seeking a seasoned data transformation leader to drive business growth and success in the Asia Pacific region. As a key member of our Global Data Office, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality data solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business.

This role requires a collaborative leader who can work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop effective data strategies. You will be accountable for managing and prioritizing business data needs, driving cost savings through cloud adoption, and fostering a culture of data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leadership to formulate and implement a multi-year strategic data roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Investigate and implement innovative data analytics solutions to enhance business insights and decision making.
  • Analyze current BI landscape and identify opportunities for consolidation and cost reduction.
  • Strive to improve the quality of data solutions on an ongoing basis.
  • Actively manage regional cloud computing costs and optimize resources.
  • Lead by example, embracing continuous improvement and change efforts to drive business success.
  • Collaborate with teams to achieve project objectives and deliver results.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience as a data or technology transformation leader.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in work experience.
  • Experience in insurance or similar industry utilizing a consultative approach to understand business needs.
  • Strong technical knowledge of current data solutions, including Snowflake and Databricks.
  • Technical experience with solutions built on cloud environments.
  • Proven track record in leading large transformational efforts and demonstrating successful project management, leadership, and execution skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with leaders and business partners.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a highly competitive salary package, estimated at $200,000 - $250,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan matching, and generous paid time off.
