Highly Skilled Java Application Expert

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Java application support professional to join our team. As a key member of our technology group, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support for Java applications used in banking operations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide level 2 and level 3 troubleshooting and issue resolution within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate closely with business users and technical teams to understand and resolve complex incidents.
- Perform basic SQL queries to investigate data-related issues and document recurring problems in the knowledge base.
- SUPPORT APPLICATION DEPLOYMENT AND CHANGE ACTIVITIES DURING SCHEDULED RELEASES.
- Educate junior engineers on best practices and provide guidance on intricate issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- No less than 5 years of hands-on experience in Java/Micro Services J2EE application support or development.
- In-depth understanding of Java, Spring, REST APIs, and web services.
- Familiarity with relational databases, such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and methodologies.
- Understanding of continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
