Senior Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our high-impact project for a Singapore government agency. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on expertise in Java and AngularJS, with a proven track record of delivering secure, scalable applications in government or regulated environments.

The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and AngularJS. They will lead and support the modernization of legacy systems while ensuring minimal disruption to existing services. This role requires working directly at the client site on a developer machine with no internet connectivity, adhering to strict security and compliance protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and AngularJS.
  • Lead and support the modernization of legacy systems.
  • Collaborate closely with government stakeholders, business analysts, and QA teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure all development work complies with government security standards and documentation requirements.
  • Conduct thorough unit and integration testing, and support UAT with evidence-based validation.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and planning sessions to align on development and testing strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of professional experience in Java and AngularJS development.
  • Strong command of Java and Spring Framework.
  • Proficiency in AngularJS versions 1.5 to 1.8, with experience in maintaining and enhancing legacy front-end applications.
  • Prior experience working on Singapore government projects is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices and working in air-gapped or internet-restricted environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Angular migration projects or hybrid AngularJS + Angular environments.
  • Understanding of Singapore government IT compliance and audit processes.
