Job Title: Sea Freight Operations Coordinator
About the Role:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sea Freight Operations Coordinator. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about logistics and freight operations.
Responsibilities:- To perform all aspects of sea freight operations, including coordinating with carriers, managing cargo reservations, and ensuring timely shipments.
- To ensure compliance with safety regulations, customs requirements, and other relevant laws and standards.
- To work closely with sales teams to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to meet customer needs.
- To provide exceptional customer service, respond promptly to inquiries, and resolve any issues that may arise during shipment execution.
- To maintain accurate records, update shipping status, and ensure seamless communication throughout the supply chain.
- Degree in Logistics, Transportation, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in sea freight operations or a similar role
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines, managing multiple tasks, and delivering results under pressure
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Familiarity with customs regulations, import/export procedures, and risk management practices
