Job Title: Drafter

We are seeking an experienced drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical drafting and excellent technical skills.

Job Description:

Drafter will be responsible for conducting site walks, developing 2D CAD drawings, and preparing schematics and layout plans.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Conduct on-site walkthroughs to manually trace and verify ductwork, piping, and utility routing for incomplete or undocumented systems.
  • Develop and prepare 2D CAD drawings including utility / facility system schematics, layout plans, and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Translate site data and critical engineering's notes into accurate technical drawings.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and company-specific requirements.
  • Revise and update drawings as required based on changes in scope or site findings.
  • Maintain organized drawing records and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with Utilities, Facility and Plant Maintenance teams to support planning and execution activities.
  • Participate in site measurements and dimensional verification to ensure drawing accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Min Diploma in any course w min relevant 3 yrs of draftsman experience, preferably in manufacturing industry
